গত নভেম্বর ২০ এ স্ট্যামফোর্ড ইউনিভার্সিটির সিএসই ডিপার্টমেন্টের আয়োজিত একটি উচ্চশিক্ষা বিষয়ক ওয়েবিনারে আমি নিমন্ত্রিত বক্তা হিসাবে কথা বলেছি। মূল বিষয় ছিলো অস্নাতক, বা আন্ডারগ্র্যাড শিক্ষার্থীরা কীভাবে উচ্চশিক্ষার জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিতে পারে।
এখানে সবার সুবিধার জন্য আমার ব্যবহৃত স্লাইডের পিডিএফ, যেসব লিংক উল্লেখ করেছি আলাপে সেগুলো আর ওয়েবইনারের ভিডিও দিয়েছি। আশা করি সবার কাজে লাগবে। 😄
I will admit that I have never been a fan of the Apple Eco-System. Well, I love the iPad, and combined with the iPad pencil it is awesome for research, annotation, taking notes, and every conceivable thing you can think of that you want to do on a tablet.
However, my relation with MacBook Pro 2019 13 inch is not that good. Allow me to be more specific: The OSX itself is good (Except Preview, a core software, is buggy and sucks for PDF). It is an excellent balance between Linux and Windows in terms of offering software and services. Like, most of the software available for Windows is also offered for OSX, and its terminal/libraries work similarly to Linux (at least from my understanding). I have several specifics complaints regarding the hardware though.
Zsh, or Z-Shell is a really good shell Unix/OSX/similar. It gets even better with oh-my-zsh. However, I made it even better with the help of scripts, themes and whatnot. Please note that this is not a How-to tutorial for the inexperienced zsh user; so I expect you, the reader, to know how to modify ~/.zshrc, or where to find it, or how to use aliases - those type of common scripting things. Lets dive in!
ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (ঢাবি) অতি সম্প্রতি খুবই ভালো একটা উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে গবেষণার জন্য - পাবলিকেশন এর বা ওপেন একসেস এর খরচ ঢাবি দিবে! উদ্যোগটা ভালো হলেই যে সেটার বাস্তবায়ন ভালো হবে তা অবশ্যি না। আসুন ভেঙ্গে দেখি এটায় কী কী আছে।
আমার কাছে মাঝে মাঝেই প্রশ্ন আসে - বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তির পরেই কীভাবে পিএইচডিতে পড়াশুনার প্রস্তুতি নেয়া যায়। সেটা নিয়ে চিন্তাভাবনা করে বিস্তারিত পরিকল্পনা বানিয়ে আপনাদের সাথে আলাপ সালাপ করলাম।
